The 20th Jubilee Cracovia Marathon (Cracovia Maraton) takes place on Sunday 23rd April 2023, with 6300 runners from more than 50 countries taking part.
The main race takes place on Sunday, but the accompanying events started today, with the inline skating marathon, mini marathon and night run taking place on Saturday.
The two day festival of running may be a treat for runners and their supporters, but the necessary road closures and disruption along the route provide residents with a bit of a transport headache.
The inline skating marathon took place this morning, over a 42km route, with the 15th edition of the Mini Cracovia Marathon following this afternoon and the night run this evening.
