Your Guide to the Kraków Celtic Festival 2026
The Kraków Celtic Festival returns this weekend, from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th September 2026, bringing the Spirit of the Celts to the Heart of Poland
For three days, the city fills with Celtic music, dancing, traditional instruments, workshops and cultural events, bringing together performers and enthusiasts from Scotland, Brittany, the Isle of Man, Ireland, Poland and beyond.
The festival is free to attend, family-friendly and open to all.
What is it?
The festival celebrates the sights, sounds, energy and traditions of the Celtic world, featuring international performers, as well as showcasing Kraków and Poland’s own thriving Celtic music and dance scene.

The lineup presents artists from several Celtic regions with Polish musicians and performers, making the festival as much a showcase of Kraków’s international cultural scene as it is of Celtic heritage.
Why is it worth a visit?
You don’t need any Celtic heritage to enjoy the festival — a love of folk music and curiosity about traditional dance is enough.
More than concerts
The programme isn’t just about the on-stage performances. It also includes workshops, talks and activities introducing Celtic traditions, music and dance, plus events aimed at children and families — making it a solid option for expats looking for something the whole family can enjoy. The event also has close ties to Kraków’s established folk and Celtic music scene, with evening sessions at partner venues around the city — notably a pre-festival party at Stary Port plus the opening-night event at Klub Pod Jaszczurami.
