New Orleans Sunday (2/7/17), showcases and celebrates the annual Piwinica Pod Baranami Summer Jazz Festival, (Letni Festiwal Jazzowy w Piwnicy Pod Baranami) bringing, music, dance and fun to the Rynek.
The day begins with a number of concerts at cafes and bars on the Main Square. Then, the Great New Orleans Parade makes it’s way from The Barbican to the Main Square, complete with musicians, acrobats, vintage cars and more. The parade is followed by the Finale Concert on the Main Stage in front of the Town Hall tower.
PROGRAMME – New Orlean’s Sunday:
12:00 – 16:00 – Four concerts by: Old Metropolitan Band, Boba Jazz Band, Beale Street Band, JBBO, who will play in the Main Square’s cafes: “Pod Jaszczurami”, by the music book store “Kurant”, in the “Ratuszowa” restaurant and in the “Harris Piano Jazz Bar” Club.
17:00 – Great New Orleans Parade from Barbican to the Main Square, via Florianska.
18:00 – The Grand Finale on the Main Stage in front of the Town Hall Tower, starring:
Karen Edwards, JBBO & Stanley Breckenridge with special guests – Wojciech Karolak and Przemek Dyakowski, Marian Pawlik Quartet.
20:00 Swing and Sway – dance with Swing & Sway school of dance.
