Swiss musician, Gion Stump is a traveller who is always looking for new adventures. With his band Gion Stump & The Lighthouse Project he has released four studio albums, a live dvd (accompanied by a symphony orchestra) and played several big national and international festivals.
His latest solo release, Unplugged, was written and recorded during the pandemic and is a collection of songs accompanied by acoustic guitar and piano only. The Unplugged Tour has brought the show to Switzerland, Germany, France, Spain and will continue with further shows in Germany, Denmark and Poland this year.
The audience can expect an evening with a lot of humour, touching songs and many stories from the everyday life of living on the road. In addition, the show includes a selection of songs written by Gion’s heroes, such as Peter Gabriel or Chris de Burgh. (KED note – We first met Gion at the PG gig in Kraków earlier this year)
