The work cooperative Spółdzielnia „Ogniwo” was founded by a group of over a dozen people in 2014.

We wanted to create a place that we missed in Krakow – a centre of social activity combined with a café and a bookshop, a friendly space for various formal and informal groups and movements, looking for a place to meet and organise their events, social and cultural.

We are probably the first co-operative founded in Krakow after 1989. Among the members and members of the cooperative are, among others computer graphic designers, translators, architects and psychologists.
