Abbreviations and acronyms (skróty i akronimy) can be difficult to decipher in our own language, more so in a foreign language, particularly, in our case – Polish.
I’m a big fan of TLA’s most likely from my previous career where we used them all the time, or maybe just because I am a lazy writer and prefer shortening things, where poss.
I’ve compiled an A-Z of over 200 abbreviations and acronyms, which you’re likely to come across in everyday use, along with some less common ones, which you may see around, or read in Polish news or media.
