The a’ la carte breakfasts served are very popular and very much enjoyed among our guests.

Visiting Tarnów
Tarnów can be easily reached by car or train from Kraków in about an hour.  The city and surrounding area offer great opportunities for sightseeing and visiting and would make a great weekend break or short stay.

The beautiful and unique painted village of Zalipie is a short 40 min drive from Tarnów.

I can with clear conscience recommend both the hotel and the local restaurant. The view from the window onto the beautiful Tarnów market square - priceless! In addition, really delicious food and friendly service. You can easily drive up to the hotel and unpack your suitcases, and for PLN 30 per day, park in a nearby monitored parking lot or on the street (free on weekends).

The only hotel at the beautiful Rynek (historical city center/square). 8 rooms, three floors, no elevator. Nice decorations in the hotel. Sitting at terace on main floor: Excellent view over Rynek. Very relaxed!

Room 8 at top: huge, 3 bedrooms, floor makes a little noise. Huge bathroom.

Service: top. Owner is gentle, helpfull.

Food: good, very good. Breakfast is not a buffet, but definitely plenty enough.

No parkingplace at the rynek. Rather closeby is a parkingarea, otherwise you have to park your car at streets surrounding old part. During the week you have to pay.

The location of the hotel is just perfect. It's in the heart of Old Town of Tarnów and it gives you a very convenient starting point to walk around.

The rooms are very spacious and have a nice atmosphere of an old building, very comfortable beds.

Downsides:
- no slippers or bathrobes in the room
- bathrooms need refreshing. They are very low quality, a bit damaged and because of this they look dirty. They completely do not match with the style of the room.

Overall, definitely a place to come back to!

This hotel has a gorgeus restaurant down stairs. We just randomly chose this place as we were walking by there and seemed like a good place where to grab a bite. Foods were staggering and service was also well above Polish average. Highly reccommend.

Right in the center of town. Clean and cute. The hotel is located in an old building, so the rooms are not your usual, cookie cutter Hyatt type rooms. They are older, but have a charm and are very spacious. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. The food was good too.

My little brother was getting married at the chapel nearby so about 10 different people from our group had rooms here. We all loved U Jana! The breakfast is amazing. The rooms were great. The wifi worked pretty well. And the price was great for everything. We ate here for breakfast every day and had dinner here a few nights too. Would highly recommend!
