Two editions of the popular ‘Kraków Nights’ (Krakowskie Noce) series of events take place this weekend.

The 13th edition of Theatre Night (Noc Teatrów) takes place on the evening of Saturday/Sunday 15th-16th June at various indoor and outdoor venues across Kraków.

Then on the evening of Sunday/Monday 16th-17th June, the 2nd edition of Dance Night (Noc Tańca) takes place.

Theatre Night (Noc Teatrów) and Dance Night (Noc Tańca) are part of the series of cultural night festivals, along with Museum Night (Noc Muzeów), Poetry Night (Noc Poezji), Music Night (Noc Muzyki), and Jazz night (Noc Jazzu).

Admission to performances is free, but for most you must first obtain a free  ticket, details on where and how to do this are shown alongside each event on the festival programme page, or visit the Tourist Services Centre, ul. Powiśle 11,  for tickets and more information.

THEATRE NIGHT
This years programme includes 67 projects and events for all ages at theatres and other venues across the city, including eight outdoor, open air performances at Mały Rynek, Plac Szczepański, Plac Niepodległości and  Alei Róż.

The first performance will be presented at 11.00 („Zaczarowany Kapturek” Teatru Animacji Falkoshow), and the last at midnight (Leszek Wójtowicz’s concert „Znajdziemy w sobie siłę” at Piwnica pod Baranami, Rynek Główny 27).

DANCE NIGHT
A relative newcomer to the Kraków Nights event series.
The aim of the project is to support and popularise creativity and places related to dance art.

DANCE NIGHT is a great opportunity to bring the art of dance to a wider audience, through the presentation of its various styles, genres and non-athletic forms, showing the possibilities and potential of the Kraków artistic community associated with dance art.

The programme includes performances and dance shows, original presentations, dance art shows, dance workshops and dance experiments.
