No trams will operate this weekend, Sat-Sun 4th-5th May, along ul.Starowiślna to allow emergency repairs to be carried out on the track between ul. Miodowa and ul. św. Wawrzyńca.
With ul. Krakowska already closed for long term renovation, this will cause some disruption for those trying to access Kazimierz and the city from South of the river over the weekend.
The following route changes will apply during the closure.
Tram lines:
- No. 3, 10 and 24 – will be suspended;
- No. 19 – the line will run on the temporarily changed route: Borek Fałęcki – … – ul. Limanowskiego, ul. Wielicka, tramway wharf, street Kuklińskiego, ul. Klimeckiego , Grzegórzeckie roundabout – … – Freight Station . The frequency of running will remain unchanged;
- No. 69 – during the night from Saturday to Sunday the line will run along the route temporarily changed: Nowy Bieżanów P + R – … – ul. Wielicka, tramway wharf, street Kuklińskiego, ul. Klimeckiego, street Grzegórzecka , ul. Starowiślna, ul. Dominikańska – … – Krowodrza Górka . The frequency of running will remain unchanged. The “Starowiślna” stop in the direction of “Poczta Główna” will function twice: on ul. Dietla and on ul. Starowislna;
- No. 70 – a substitute tram line running on the route: Pleszów – ul. Igołomska, ul. Ptaszyckiego, al. Jana Pawła II, ul. Mogilska, al. Warsaw Uprising, ul. Grzegórzecka, ul. Starowiślna, ul. Westerplatte, street Pavia, street Doctor Hard – Krowodrza Górka . The line will run with frequency and in similar hours as lines 3 and 10. The stop “Starowiślna” towards “Poczta Główna” will function twice: on ul. Dietla and on ul. Starowislna;
- No. 73 – will run along the temporarily changed route: Wzgórza Krzesławickie – … – ul. Starowiślna, ul. Grzegórzecka, ul. Klimeckiego, street Kuklińskiego, tram flyover , ul. Wieliczka – … – New Bieżanów P + R . The frequency of running will remain unchanged. The “Starowiślna” stop in the direction of “Poczta Główna” will function twice: on ul. Dietla and on ul. Starowislna;
- No. 74 – substitute tram line running on the route: Kurdwanów P + R – ul. Witosa, street Nowosądecka, ul. Wielicka, ul. Limanowskiego, ul. Kalwaryjska, ul. Wadowicka – Łagiewniki . The line will run with frequency and at similar times as line No. 24;
- No. 77 – will be additionally started on May 4 and 5 and will run on the current route Nowy Bieżanów P + R – Łagiewniki with frequency and at similar times as line No. 3 on public holidays;
- No. 78 – will run on the temporarily modified route: Borek Fałęcki – ul. Zakopiańska, ul. Brożka, ul. Kapelanka, ul. Monte Cassino, street Dietla , street Starowiślna, ul. Dominican – … – Small Plaszow P + R . The frequency of running will remain unchanged;
Substitute bus route:
- No. 703 – a replacement bus route running on the route: Podgórze SKA – ul. Limanowskiego, ul. At Zjazd, ul. Starowiślna – Starowiślna .
– The start and finish stop “Podgórze SKA” will be located at the bus station. The additional stop “Podgórze SKA” in the direction of Starowiślna will operate on ul. Powstańców Wielkopolskich (as for line 178/478 towards Łagiewniki).
– The “Starowiślna” final and initial stop will be located on ul. Dietla, after turning right onto ul. Starowiślna (on the general roadway).
– Stops “Plac Bohaterów Getta”, “Św. Wawrzyńca “and” Miodowa “will function in both directions as for line No. 669.
The line will run every 10 minutes (on Sunday until 8:00 every 15 minutes). The line will be operated by Mobilis Sp. z o. o
