A FEW WORDS ABOUT VARIA
THE WHOLE WORLD IN ONE PLACE
Varia was established 13 years ago. We teach Polish. And Polish only.
February 2004. Krakow is covered with snow and it’s cold. Janek, Maria, Carlos, Tassilo, Lena… A dream came true. We have our first group of nine students!
September 2016. We say good-bye to holidays at Varia. From Iceland to Australia and from New York to the Kamchatka Peninsula. Another 200 students speak Polish. Registration for our semester courses is open. As every year, busy businessmen, enthusiasts for everything that’s Polish, those motivated by love with those seeking an ‘exotic’ language will meet on our courses.
We are 13 years old and we definitely have the reason to celebrate. Students from almost 90 countries all over the world, great teachers and an amazing atmosphere.
WIDE VARIETY OF LANGUAGE COURSES
Group and individual, summer and semester, intensive and weekend, preparing for the state certificate exam and training given language skills. Thematic courses on request (business, technical, medical). We teach at all language levels. You choose the frequency and time. We will always find a course suiting your needs.
SPEAKING, SPEAKING, SPEAKING…
Teaching communication is our most important aim. We want vocabulary and grammatical structures to be, most of all, functional. We give our students as much possibilities to speak as possible. All classes, also for beginners, are in Polish. Such a method brings good results quickly, which is an additional motivation for students.
ON FAMILIAR TERMS WITH POLISH
Language lessons are not everything. Varia means great cultural diversity.
Meetings in atmospheric clubs and cafés, discovering the artistic district of Krakow – Kazimierz, strolling along mysterious Podgorze, watching cult Polish movies and …making Polish ‘ruskie pierogi’.
We want Krakow and Polish culture help you become familiar with the Polish language and inspire you to learn.
AND THE WINNER IS…
We were awarded by Sonntag Aktuell for the innovative attitude to educational tourism and we received three prizes from Cracow Life for the high quality of language courses. There are numerous press releases and TV programmes about our school and students.
