Collaborate Krakow: DIY upcycled Xmas gift
10th December 2017 @ 11:00 - 14:00
Christmas is a special time of giving. However, it also tends to be a time of increased waste and consumption… This December, Collaborate Krakow will help you counter this harmful gift-buying culture by giving you the skills to MAKE YOUR OWN special gifts + wrapping paper! What’s more, as much as possible, RECYCLED THINGS will be our material! So, stay out of the shopping malls and instead join our workshop!!!
You’ll get to join our two workshops:
1. Crocheting out of old t-shirts! Did you know that old t-shirts and other cotton clothes that are too bad to bring to clothing swaps or give to second-hand can still have a life?!! Our Natasha will show you how you two can make necklaces, little basket and rugs from all rags – much simpler than it sounds!
2. Make your own personally designed gift tag, wrapping paper and Christmas postcards! Potato stamp. Hanna will have you going home with really special gift wrap!
WHAT TO BRING: Bring your old t-shirts/fabric/cotton clothes, a poster that lies in the corner/large scrap paper that is plain on one side/ cardboard from cereal boxes etc.
Enter is 10zł donation

Collaborate Krakow is a community for non-polish speakers living in Krakow who want to be actively involved in this city! This not-for-profit project runs under the umbrella of Ambasada Krakowian – a community and space for community. Ambasada Krakowian runs thanks to contributions and donations from the community. The organisation does not receive external funding. The space pays rent, bills and buys the tea, coffee and snacks you can enjoy at the events. Please consider your contribution when you attend events in Ambasada Krakowian – a donation in the money box OR share your time with us as volunteer 🙂
See you there!!!
