Christian A Dumais -Have We Gotten to the Part Where We Die Yet?

26th March 2017 @ 08:00 - 12:00

On Sunday, March 26th, after performing for audiences in Wroclaw, Poznan and Warsaw, Christian A. Dumais is finally returning to the Krakow stand-up comedy scene with his irreverent humor for a brand new show about optimism and hope for the future called HAVE WE GOTTEN TO THE PART WHERE WE DIE YET?

Christian is an American writer and humorist living in Poland. He’s also the writer behind Twitter’s wildly successful @DRUNKHULK – with close to 200,000 followers. Drunk Hulk has been featured on MTV and Comedy Central. Most recently, he was featured on Echo24’s Terry o’Clock. And with fans like Russell Brand, Anthony Bourdain and Neil Gaiman, Christian is one of Poland’s best kept secrets.

HAVE WE GOTTEN TO THE PART WHERE WE DIE YET? (or the snappier HWGTTPWWDY) is a collection of stand-up and hilarious confessional stories which covers topics such as Jesus Christ’s job interview for the King of Poland position, a detailed list of all of the animals Christian has accidentally killed, and things you can do after you die. There is a reason why TIME magazine called him “one of [their] favorite funnymen.”

On March 26th – unless the world has already descended into chaos and madness and you’re too busy having knife fights with your neighbors over a small paper cup full of the last drinkable water in the city – come laugh at/with Christian A. Dumais as he asks the very question we have asked ourselves every day in 2017: HAVE WE GOTTEN TO THE PART WHERE WE DIE YET?

This event will also feature comedy from emcee Alan Szymula, Trevor Hawes and Ashley Keith.
