Accent School of Polish are hosting an Adaptation Training event for English speaking 3rd country nationals, this Saturday, 30th March 2019.

The Adaptation Training is designed for citizens of non-European Union countries within the framework of the programme “Lesser Poland friendly to foreigners – support for integration and adaptation of the third countries citizens”, implemented by the Voivode of Lesser Poland, co-funded by the State Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration.    The event will be free of charge.

The session will include useful, practical information and advice to non EU ‘3rd country nationals’  living in Kraków, on topics such as legalisation of stay, which public offices deliver which services, taking the first step to working in Poland, how to deal with day-to-day situations and institutions, such as; post office or filing a declaration to choose a family doctor, what culture shock is, how it manifests itself and how to beat it.

The adaptation training is also intended for Polish employers who want to support their workers in Poland and are interested in the above topics.

Consultations
Free consultations will also be provided outside of the training room, during the course of the day:

9:00-17:00 – Consultation by Mr Przemysław Bednarz, Foreigners Information and Advisory Point. Mr Przemysław is a specialist of service in English. He provides comprehensive assistance and support for non- European Union citizens, including advice on the legalisation of stay and work, social, pension and employee benefits as well as administrative matters encountered by foreigners in everyday life in Poland.

10:00-11:30  – Legal consultation by Dr Adam Bulandra.

16:00 – 17:00 – Consultation by Urszula Majcher-Legawiec, methodological advisor on multiculturalism., who will answer questions regarding education of foreigners’ children.
