MPO have published details and a schedule for their free christmas tree collection service.
The service begins on 16th January 2017 and will operate until 10th February, according to the schedule for each district. Trees should be left outside by 7am on one of the dates specified in the schedule for your district.

In 2016 MPO staff received a total of 13 542 Christmas tree – 8 times more than the previous year when only 1623 trees were collected, a huge increase in environmental awareness and responsible disposal of christmas trees.
LIVE CHRISTMAS TREES
If you have a ‘live’ potted christmas tree, there is a separate service inviting you to recycle the live tree, giving it a second life. Trees should be dropped outside the ZZM at Wisla stadium.
