The 17th edition of the fabulous Kraków Photomonth Festival launches tonight, at 6pm, with the Grand Opening at ‘Bunkier Sztuki’ Gallery of Contemporary Art, pl. Szczepański 3a. This years photomonth runs from 24th May – 23rd June 2019.

The theme for Photomonth 2019 is ‘Like We Like It’. The 2019 festival programme was developed collectively under the attentive eye of Joanna Gorlach and Agnieszka Olszewska.

Since 2001 Kraków Photomonth has grown from humble beginnings to one of the main photo festivals in Europe.  The Main Programme consists of exhibitions, meetings, workshops and other accompanying events, together with Show Off , Portfolio review, master series, parties and more.

Festival Centre
The Festival Centre is a place for meetings and discussions. A space that pulses with audiences, artists, curators, and above all, our committed volunteers. They are the ones who will supply all the information you need on the Krakow Photo­month exhibitions and programme at the info point. At the photography publications area of the centre, you can make purchases and find out about new releases.
